Little Trouble Australian Cattle Dogs
Welcome to Little Trouble Cattle Dogs!
Little Trouble Cattle Dogs is a small kennel located in Deer Lodge Tennessee. The Australian Cattle Dog, also called a Queensland Heeler or Blue Heeler has been an amazing breed for us over the years. We have owned cattle dogs since 2001 and have enjoyed having them as loving family members. Our first Australian Cattle Dog was a male named Raynor, and we got him from an Amish family in Illinois. After owning him for a few years we were hooked and have had cattle dogs ever since! We absolutely love their loyalty and desire to please. They help us with all of our chores outside and when its time to relax and go to bed they all sleep inside with us. The Australian Cattle Dog is a herding dog and as such definitely needs a job to do. We have started teaching our AKC registered dogs herding and plan to trial them and eventually work cattle with them.
Over the years we have added a dog or two to the pack. Sometimes by rescueing a dog in need and sometimes by saving a stray. Once they find their way to us they are here forever. We don't believe in rehoming a dog just because it may not be fit enough to breed anymore or because they are too much work. In fact, we got our name from one of the dogs we saved years ago, she was an amazing female named Little Trouble aka "LT". She was such an awesome girl that we just had to name our kennel in her honor!
Our dogs are very well taken care of and get tons of exercise and mental stimulation. A couple of them even accompany us at work on a daily basis!
